MATHEMATICS
The Mathematics program in
years 5-7 embraces the philosophy of the P-10 syllabus, with a concentrated
effort being placed on the processes required in the effective learning
of Mathematics. The major areas of study within the programme include:
Number, Measurement, Space, and Chance and Data. In August all students
take part in the University of New South Wales Mathematics Competition.
The result Certificates from this competition compare each students performance
in this Core Subject with results of students throughout Queensland.
