As an integral part of the College community, the Library aims to assist students to develop the skills necessary for independent and lifelong learning.

To achieve these aims, we seek to provide an environment in which we:

· Foster co-operative partnerships with other members of the College Community
· Implement a programme to develop, master and extend research and study skills
· Support the implementation of the College curriculum through the provision of resources
· Promote enjoyment of literature and a positive attitude towards the Library.

The Teacher/Librarians work closely with all staff to co-operatively plan and teach resource-based units of work across the curriculum.
