Religious Education in year 8 will cover the topics of:

· Initiation into Community
· Early Christian Communities
· Identity and Christian Growth
· Jesus - Social and Cultural Perspectives

Students will engage in a wide range of classroom activities and be required to complete a variety of assessment tasks including:

· Class Tests
· Assignments
· Oral presentations
· Creative displays; etc.

The students will also participate in a Galilee Retreat as part of their House camp at Maroon.

Each Tuesday morning at 8.00am Eucharist is celebrated in the Chapel of the Holy Family at the College and students, along with their parents, are encouraged to attend.

The Religious Education Program at Terrace is implemented according to the Brisbane Archdiocesan Guidelines for Religious Education in Catholic Schools.
