“Training with Zen Zen Zo has changed my perception of what it is to be an actor. The raw energy and emotion that is created by the classes cannot be measured. It is truly an amazing and life-changing experience.”  MORGAN ROBERTS, 17
In 2005 Zen Zen Zo is proud to announce the introduction in 5 cities across Australia of Small Stomp, the company’s very first Physical Theatre Training Intensive for teenagers. Based on Stomping Ground, the company's popular annual summer program for professional and aspiring artists, Small Stomp will provide an exciting opportunity for teenagers to equip themselves for a future in the performing arts industry, as well as introduce them to an exciting new area of skills and techniques for creating world-class theatre.  The course will finish with a public performance of the students' work on the final Friday night. The aims of this one-week course for the participants include:
  • developing strong physical, vocal and ensemble acting skills
cultivating a positive mental attitude towards striving for excellence
applying creative imagination to the creation of piece of physical theatre
meeting other talented teenagers with similar creative interests
  • introducing participants to the professional theatre industry
