- PRIORITISE - Prioritise everything you need to do. What needs to be done first? Start with “A priority” tasks; ensure it is the best use of your time.
- SET TIME LIMITS - Give yourself only a set amount of time to complete a particular task. Use big blocks of time for big tasks .
- JUST START - Do difficult things quickly; waiting doesn’t make them any easier. If you have no idea where to start, pick up a pen and just start jotting down ideas.
- THE 30-MINUTE-METHOD - Select a piece of the task to work on for 30 minutes and plan to have a short break before beginning the next task. Stand up, stretch, have some water.
- REWARDS - Set yourself different levels of goals, particular things you want to achieve, and once you have reached these goals, ensure that you reward yourself so you feel good about your work .
