Future Problem Solving

Over the years Terrace has competed in the Macquarie Bank Future Problem Solving Program with many boys benefitting from the experience. Students research current global challenges and compete using a six step problem solving process. Booklet teams complete this process in a two hour time frame.

The topics for the Macquarie Bank Future Problem Solving Program in 2006 are:

Climate Change/Climate Threats

Freedom of Speech

Nutrition

Healthcare Access

 

Terrace was represented at the World Finals in Kentucky in 2004

Terrace Junior Division FPS Australian Champions

by Michael O'Keeffe, Luke Moloney, Joseph Burke, Gerrard Forrest and James Lee (coach Mrs Carolyn Waters).

The team below attended the Macquarie Bank Future Problem Solving Australian Finals in October 2005. They competed in the Competitive Booklet Middle Division.
