CCOLMARLa Venise de la France. The beautiful old houses which flank the river banks are painted in candy box colours. Colmar is in the Vosges mountains in Alsace in the north east of France. The steep roofs encourage the winter snow to slide off. The colours of the houses reflect in water below.
