Customs
Regulations for France.
From outside EEC:
- 200 cigarettes or
50 cigars or 250g tobacco,
- 1 litre of spirits
over 22% or 2 litres spirits up to 22%,
- 2 litres of wine
- other goods up to
the value of FFR300.
Restrictions:
- Import or export of
gold bars, ingot or coins require authorisation.
- Articles containing
gold (except personal jewellery less than 500g) require a written declaration
- There are no particular
customs formalities for small quantities of food products brought into France
by tourists (eg. 1kg honey, the same for flowers).
- Fresh fruit, vegetables
and meat must be declared
- However, temporary
restrictions can be established by the French Customs.

with the nearest French Consulate.
