Project Task.
The French
collection.

INSTRUCTIONS
DUE DATE: NOVEMBER 6TH
- You cannot leave this collection
until the weekend before the due date.
- You need to begin collecting
items now.
TASK
- Start collecting advertisements,
articles, photos, labels, maybe notes from a radio-TV guide - anything
to do with French or Francophone themes. Your list is overleaf.
- In a scrap book, number
each page 1 to 20. Give each page a title in French. Your teacher will
help you with this.

Compulsory
items.
- These are mostly things
to collect. Some ideas for sources are given to you.
- Cut out, assemble and arrange
your items attractively.
- Neatly glue each item into
your book and write underneath each item what it is and where you found
it.
- Write a sentence or two
to explain your page.

Research Items
- Choose three themes from
the five listed.
- Identify your personality
and answer the two questions in your own words in two short paragraphs.
- You may not plagiarise,
all research must be re-written in your own words.
- Evidence of plagiarism
will be heavily penalised.
- Find an illustration for
each item. Make sure you have identified the source of your work

OTHER ITEMS
- This is really a section
of your own choice. You can write sentences and paragraphs, draw or
cut out pictures, use material from newspapers, magazines or the Internet.
In any case, you must identify the source of your work.

LANGUAGE
- You are expected to use
some French in your work. This will be in your titles and labels. These
will be spelled correctly. Your
teacher will help you with this in class.
- All research work will
be written in English.

PRESENTATION
- Attractive presentation
is expected.
- If you are using labels
from food, ensure that they are clean.
- Pictures are to be cut
out neatly.
- All items should be neatly
glued to the page.
- Your teachers prefer original
work to photocopies. You may use a word processor to present your written
work.
TO HAND UP
- Your completed scrap book,
with a title, illustration and your name on its front cover
- Your criteria sheet neatly
attached inside the front cover.
- All scrapbooks should pass
the "shake" test!
LATE WORK
- Please be aware of the
College policy on late assignments. Late projects will be penalised.
- As this project is given
out so long in advance, extensions will not be granted.
