• Join in Bright Minds activities http://www.brightminds.uq.edu.au. Bright Minds is a three year initiative of the University of Queensland . It commenced in 2002 and aims to:

• Attract bright students to science;
• Raise student awareness of career options in science;
• Provide teachers with the knowledge and resources to excite students and encourage them to study science.

• Join the Double Helix Science club http://www.csiro.au/helix/ - the official science club of CSIRO
• Identify your learning strengths – Research shows that all human beings have at least eight different types of intelligence. Depending on your background and age, some intelligences are more developed than others. This activity will help you find out what your strengths are. Knowing this, you can work to strengthen the other intelligences that you do not use as often.
