We need Terrace Gentlemen to show 18 000 strong...

Coming back this term after well-earned Easter Holidays and what has been, by anyone’s definition, an extremely successful Term 1, we are all ready to give it our all again in academia, sport and culture. This term we are starting strong in academics with every student putting their heads down and turning their Cs into Bs or their Bs into As.

For some though the work didn’t stop on the holidays with students competing in a range of sporting camps and clinics to develop and refine their skills in order compete at their best in each of the GPS seasons. The Cross Country camp has never pushed its runners harder, the Footballers have never run as many drills and the Tennis players have never played as many games, all to compete at their best against all other GPS schools.

The first week back means Round 1 against Nudgee College in Tennis and Football on Saturday and the Senior A debate team taking them on at Nudgee this Friday night. If we are to continue the spirit Terracians showed last term we need numbers out to support on both Friday and Saturday to start this term even stronger than the last. We need Terrace Gentlemen to show 18 000 strong to acknowledge the efforts put in by all Terracians across all programs in Term 2.
