On Wednesday 4 October Xavier House enjoyed an inaugural House Breakfast to raise funds and awareness for one of their Friendship Groups – yourtown. The breakfast, held at the stunning Victoria Park Golf Complex, had a full house of 120 guests. Attendees heard from special guest speakers including Senator the Hon. George Brandis QC, who presented an inspirational speech about mission and vocation to public service, and the Head of Client Services for yourtown, Mr Brendan Burke, who spoke about the various programs run by yourtown. He acknowledged the deep commitment that comes from the friendship between yourtown and Xavier House. Thank you to all those people who could attend. The breakfast was a wonderful morning of good food, good company and support of a valued friend in yourtown.
