Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

Well done to the Red Thunder Drumline who performed for 100 000 people who lined the streets as they led hundreds of flowery floats and wound their way through the heart of the city. The Drumline was joined by street performers, carnival characters, incredible inflatables and stilt walkers who escorted the stunning floral floats on their journey to Queens Park in Queensland’s largest street parade.

Drumline and Rock Band

Back in Black was a hit at the GT v BBC home game last term. Each season we plan one game where we will focus large amounts of energy to produce an unforgettable halftime entertainment package and help the players and supporters share a joint love of everything red and black. Back in Black was loud, raw and undoubtedly a great way to link Culture and Sport. It is great to be part of a large team who cohesively work together. Thanks to the musicians, players and supporters.

All British Day

Thank you to the many parents and students who helped at the All British Car Rally on the first weekend of the holidays. This is our annual fund raiser and all funds raised from this day go directly to the families of students who tour. Our next planned tour where these funds will be used is Singapore 2019. It would be expected that all premier ensembles will participate in this tour. Again, thank you to the TPA for the organisation, parents and students for manning the event and Mr Alan Kennedy for his continued support.
