USE OF SICKBAY

USE OF SICK BAY

NB The school nurse will not give a student a panadol tablet without permission from parents.

TEACHERS

If a student in your class feel sick and wants to visit sick bay.

1. Teacher writes/signs permission note (Sick Bay forms available)
2. Student reports to Sick Bay for treatment.
3. Nurse will record details of student, condition, action and teacher referral.
4. If student has to be sent home - Dean of Students or Dean of Studies will be informed.

DEAN

Each Friday the Deans will receive a copy of the students who visited the Sick Bay.

Dean will check on the frequency of visits.

Any problems, peculiarities etc. Dean will sort out with home/Tutor and teachers.
