BASKETBALL
The Terrace Basketball program under the expert guidance of Mr Alek Baruksopulo and Mr Anthony Baruksopulo continues to be the most successful team sport at Terrace in terms of the win percentage ratio (82%).
In 2008, Mr Broad will again act as the Director of Basketball (administration) while Aleks and Anthony will assist Mr Broad and the Basketball program by acting as Coaching Directors across Years 5 - 12. The College is indeed very grateful and fortunate to have two such fine Terracians and highly qualified coaches who in their second year of leading the prorgam have continued the development and reputation of the Terrace Basketball program.
The Terrace Hoopaholics Basketball program boasts 24 teams across Years 5 to 12 - with the ability to field more teams if consistent opposition were available to play.
GPS Basketball is played during Terms 3 and 4 on Saturdays while the CIC Basketball season is held in Term 3 and games are played on Friday afternoons.
In 2008, Aleks and Anthony will continue to raise the bar for our Hoopaholics with the entering of 2 teams into the BBI club basketball competition and running specific quality skills training sessions in Term 2 in preparation for the 2008 CIC and GPS seasons.
