GTOBA MASS, AGM & MORNING TEA
The 2008 Mass and AGM was held in conjunction with the College Open Day on Sunday 2 March 2008. Mass was celebrated by Fr David Pascoe followed by Morning Tea and the Association's AGM. A portrait of former Headmaster, Br Ted Magee, was unveiled on the morning.
ST JOSEPH'S DAY LUNCHEON
The St Joseph 's Day lunch was held on Wednesday 19 March 2008 at The Queensland Irish Club. One hundred and fifty Old Boys and guests enjoyed one another's company and celebrated together the First VIII's victory at the Recent Head of the River Championships and the successful retention of the Old Boys' Cup.
TERRACE “GOLF DAY”
The popular Terrace Golf Day, hosted by the GTOBA, will be held on Friday 29 August at the Indooroopilly Golf Club. Registration and buffet BBQ lunch from 10.30am, shotgun tee-off at 12 noon. ( GT Golf Day flyer).
THE GTOBA ANNUAL DINNER

TERRACE CRICKET – OLD BOYS vs COLLEGE 1 ST XI
The Terrace Cricket Day will be held on Sunday 12 October at Tennyson.
“VINTAGE TERRACIANS” MORNING TEA
A morning tea for Old Boys who graduated from Terrace 50 years ago or more, including 1958, will be held on Friday 14 November 2008 in College Hall. Invitations will be mailed closer to the time.
TERRACE CARE
The Gregory Terrace Old Boys have commenced a pastoral program known as “Terrace Care”. To be a caring and compassionate Old Boy, we need to show our concern for all our fellow Old Boys who are suffering in any way. We cannot do this if we do not know. If any Old Boys have problems, or if you know of someone who is in difficulty, please let us know. Often just to talk to someone who cares helps a great deal.
Please contact one of the committee and register or advise of need.
REUNIONS IN 2008
A Reunion for GT Old Boys currently living in Japan or elsewhere in Asia will be held on Saturday 16 August in Japan (venue to be advised). For further details contact Dominic Townsend: dom_townsend@hotmail.com by 18 July.
The 30-year Reunion for students who graduated in 1978 will be held on Saturday 23 August 2008. 6.00pm - tour of the College followed by a gathering at 7.00pm in College Hall. The 50-year Reunion for students who graduated in 1958 will be held on Friday 28 November 2008 at Rydges Rooftop, Southbank, at 12 noon.
