Joining the Terrace Family
“When a student comes to Terrace, they should be aware that this community has the potential to be the most significant community outside their extended family…”
Mr Peter Chapman – College Principal
Joining the Terrace Family marks the commencement of an extraordinary journey for a student that enables and empowers him to develop his unique gifts in an atmosphere of care, support, challenge and growth.
It is a journey that aims to engender in the student a sense of identity, a perspective on the world, strength of purpose and a compassion for his fellow man. In this sense, our education is a three-way partnership between the student, the College and his family.
Guided by our Mission Statement, Terrace aspires to nurture men of “faith and learning”. Our College aims to inspire students to understand and enjoy the process of learning and to strive for excellence in what they do – both in the classroom and through the many sporting, cultural and other opportunities the school offers.
The legacy of a Terrace education continues to offer benefits to students following school, as Old Boys, especially through the strong friendships that develop and endure.
The process of joining the Terrace Family is one to be carefully considered and we offer a number of guides and considerations to assist this decision and the process itself - our Enrolment Policy document being the chief resource.
This document contains extensive information on the enrolment process and various considerations and expectations. This can be sourced via the related documents section.
The enrolments webpage also contains some general information and a formal approach for an application package can be made via the Online Expression of Interest form.
There also is a page containing information on Orientations and School Leaving related events.
Our website provides a wealth of information about Gregory Terrace, its history, identity and the opportunities our unique College offers.
