Level 1 Cricket Coaching Course

On-line Level 1 Accreditation Course - Are you ready to take the next step in your coaching?

The Level 1 (Development) Coaching Course is directed towards coaches at under-age and community cricket level who wish to broaden their knowledge of the technical skills of the game, understand appropriate and effective ways to conduct sessions and gain an awareness of the factors motivating young people to play and enjoy cricket. Candidates should approach the course with an attitude of wanting to discover more about themselves, about the game of cricket and most importantly about the ways in which they can facilitate the improvement of their players through their role as a coach.

The pre-requisites for the Level 1 Course are the Introduction to Cricket Course as well as all participants being a minimum of 16 years of age on the date the course is completed.  Candidates must consent to abiding by Australian and Queensland Government legislation in relation to screening of coaches and agreement to undergoing a Blue Card check.

Step 1
Enrol and complete the on-line Introduction to Cricket Course .

Once you have completed the course email or bring your certificate as proof of completion, to your Regional Cricket Manager. Ignore Step 1 if you have already completed the Introduction to Cricket Course.

Step 2
Download the Level 1 Course Enrolment Form.
Complete payment details.

Post or email your enrolment form to your relevant Regional Cricket Manager .

Step 3
Download and print off the Codes of Behaviour and Well Played documents. These are to be used for your later reference. Once payment is received, more resources and original copies will be organised for you.

Step 4
Attend your one-day practical workshop that you have booked off the enrolment form. Bring a copy of your Introduction to Cricket certificate with you to the practical day - if you haven't already emailed it to your RCM.
