The College advertised three positions in the Courier Mail over last weekend; Head of English (Head of Languages Faculty), Coordinator of Japanese and eLearning Coordinator. Presently, we have three internal staff acting in these positions and it is our policy to invite both internal and external candidates to apply for senior and middle leadership positions when they become available.

This week we welcome back Mrs Lisa Betts to the teaching staff. Mrs Betts is working in the Exceptional Learners Faculty while Mrs Melissa Deacon is on leave. Ms Cassie Bampton is acting as Learning Support Coordinator during this time.

We have also welcomed Mr Padraic Gannon who has looked after Mr Hainstock’s classes while he has been on leave. We are blessed to be able to call on people of such experience.

Miss Georgia Power has tendered her resignation as Sport Administrator this week to follow up on a career opportunity in her field of study in marketing and public relations. We congratulate her and thank her for her positive contribution to what is a very busy and demanding area of the school. Miss Power’s calm and positive approach will be missed by the team in the Sports Office. Thank you and best wishes Georgia. The position will be advertised in due course.
