Rowing Wrap

THIS WEEKEND

A reminder that this weekend is the annual Boat Christening community event, this is open to all parents (Commencing at 8.30am). Boys in the 2018 Year 10 – Open groups are required to attend in grey school uniform. All 2018 Year 8 and 9 boys will have regular training as scheduled.

LAST WEEKEND

Over the weekend, the red and black of Terrace oars flashed down the Tennyson reach during the first competition of the season.

The Churchie / BBC / Terrace Head Race was a great spectacle, with parents lining the banks at the various vantage points to watch the action.

Overall, Terrace had a promising regatta and finished second, only 3 points behind Churchie who very narrowly missed out on the Old Boys’ Cup GPS Premiership last season.

The next Head Race will be against GPS Premiers Nudgee and Spring Hill rivals Grammar on November 11 (DRAFT Draw Attached). The Open 1st VIII race will be live again on Twitter, so watch this space!
