Terrace Performing Arts

The Terrace Performing Arts (TPA) group meets twice per term to plan and coordinate social and fundraising activities and assist with College Cultural events. The TPA is a point of contact for parents of Music and Drama students and provides an opportunity to bring together like-minded parents whose sons share an interest in music and performance.

We encourage all parents to participate in this group. You can contribute by attending the meetings, donating prizes for fundraising activities and assisting at Cultural events.

This year sees the Senior musical production in conjunction with All Hallows’ of We Will Rock You, 16-19 May. Events in 2018 include; Open Day, the ANZAC Day march, House Choir Night and the Norm Clarke Concert. We are also fortunate to cater for the “All British Day Car Rally” in the September holidays.

Terrace provides a holistic education, we believe that it is important to nurture the creative side of our students. The Terrace Cultural program helps to foster the College Mission, with students nurtured and guided by experienced staff and professional musicians with a genuine empathy and concern for the development of well-rounded students.

Participating in the various cultural activities further enhances the development of self-confidence, emotional intelligence, communication, higher order and creative thinking skills, self-discipline and team work.

The continued involvement and great achievements of Old Boys in a diverse range of cultural pursuits serves as a testament to the positive direction of the Terrace Cultural program. Meeting dates are listed in the College Calendar and below for your convenience.
