Staff News

Welcome back to Dr Michael Carroll from his leave. Dr Carroll continues to grow in confidence with his new knee, but we will all have to work together to help him look after himself over the next month.

Mr Mark Shori of our Waterford Staff continues his recovery in hospital. It has been confirmed that Mr Shori will be on leave for Semester 1 2019 at this stage. We thank Mrs Belinda Brown for extending her time with us and continue to pray for Mr Shori and his family, friends and colleagues.

The Assistant to the Dean of Studies, Mrs Kathy Wilson, is taking leave without pay for 2019. We wish Kathy the very best for this time. Mrs Colleen Watson, Assistant to the Dean of Waterford, has been appointed to this acting position for 2019. We congratulate Colleen and wish her well. We are presently recruiting for the Waterford role.

We also wish Mrs Sima Hash, one of our Science Laboratory Assistants the best for her leave without pay in 2019. Mrs Ros Steele who has joined us on our relief staff in 2018 will take on this role next year and we thank her for her assistance.

Congratulations to the following staff on recent appointments for 2019 following the appointment of Mrs Loren Serafin-Huey to the new role of Program Leader: Years 11 and 12,
Mr Michael MacDermott Acting Head of Business and Technology Faculty, Mr James Turner Acting Coordinator of Accounting, Mr Jim Allday Acting Coordinator of Math A/General Math.

The positions of Head of Faculty Business and Technology and Head of Faculty Human Movements will be advertised both externally and internally during next year for 2020.

Congratulations to Mrs Natalie Berndt who has been appointed to the role of Coordinator of Religious Education: Years 7 to 9 following the appointment of Mr Andrew Stormonth as Program Leader: Campus Ministry from 2019.

Thank you to members of the extended Terrace Family who joined us at Tennyson on Saturday to celebrate the contribution of Mrs Julie Quinn. It has been wonderful to see students past and present and parents past and present contact Julie to say thank you. At the end of this year, we will also farewell long serving member of the teaching faculty, Mrs Judy Ariotti who is a much loved and respected colleague.
