Open Day

Congratulations to the boys who performed as part of this year’s entertainment at the Open Day on Monday. All boys should be immensely proud of how they represented the College. With performances from various concert bands, orchestras and choirs, visitors to the College were entertained with an array of musical experiences. Thank you to the Terrace Performing Arts (TPA) committee who assisted at the Culture stand in promoting the diverse cultural experiences afforded to the boys at Terrace.

Middle School Musical

Wow! what a season, with three sold out shows, the stellar cast of this year’s College Musical produced a fabulous production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Experiencing the production from behind the scenes, the energy, enthusiasm and passion for and love of the arts was so encouraging to witness.

Policy for missed lessons

Instrumental and Speech and Drama teachers will make up missed lessons in the following instances:

  • Teacher absence

  • Student illness (teacher must be contacted by 8am)

  • If the student is on camp, retreat or excursion (with prior communication from the student)

  • If the student has an exam (with prior communication from the student)

Should a student forget a lesson or choose to not attend without consulting the Music teacher, the teacher will attempt to collect them from class. All attempts made to collect the student will be noted in the student OneNote. If the student is not taught, an email will be sent to the student and parent/caregiver on each occasion. Due to our duty of care, if a student of a shared lesson forgets to attend, they cannot be collected. Missed time or lessons in the above circumstances will not be made up.
